Book Delivery to End June 1, 2008

Just a reminder to Walden community members that book delivery through Indiana University will end starting June 1st. An overwhelming majority of students surveyed said they were dissatisfied with this service. Often they would receive a book only to have to read it in one or two days and then return it at their own cost. A used copy of the book can sometimes be found for the same amount as the shipping cost through Amazon’s used book option. The library has also invested in ebook collections where the book comes directly to your desktop. No forms, mail, or greenhouse gases!
