Walden Library Adds New Staff!

The Office of Student Development is pleased to announce that Walden has added two new staff members at the Minneapolis office!

Susanna Davidsen, the Director of Library Services, joined the Walden staff on April 2nd. Sue is an expert in building digital libraries and will lead the effort to create an exciting, new Walden Library for faculty, students and staff. Sue comes to us from the state of Michigan where she created and managed the state’s digital library. Sue has many years of academic library experience, having been at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor for 15 years.

Michelle Hajder will join the Walden staff on May 1st as the Associate Librarian. She will be responsible for Walden’s Information Literacy program. Michelle will work with faculty to incorporate information literacy into courses as well as create point-of-use tutorials and other aids for Walden’s new Digital Library. She will also be making presentations and offering consultations at residencies. Michelle comes to us from the Minnesota College of Business where she was the Campus Librarian at the Richfield Campus and most recently the Online Campus Librarian.
